Slavery By Another Name, Part II

yesterday was spent in the fantastic city of akko, followed by a beautiful prayer time at Bahji.
lucia, roya, simone and i went to go have lunch at our favorite little diner in akko. when we go there, we always get a hummus and meat dish. it was a hot day to be sure, but completely worth it. just as we finished our meal and were heading out, the call to prayer resounded throughout the city reverberating off of the many stone walls throughout.
we then went to Bahji. Surprisingly enough, we found it to be quite hot there as well. we sat cooling ourselves off in the BVC, sitting and drinking water and tea. the three of them decided to go to the Shrine and Mansion, but i stayed put to do a little reading and drink some more water. i wasn't sitting alone for lone when Brian K came up and joined me, to be moments later joined by Steven P. the only point to this story is that when steven came to join us, he had brought a bag of chips. the curious thing about all chips bags here in Israel is that they all include a sticker of some sort. Steven quickly retrieved his, turned to me and said "hold out your hand".
i did as i was told, and he promptly posted my hand with a sticker of sponge bob square pants. now, rather than take it off right away, as it was embarrassing, i left it on. his wife and two daughters are out of the country. i was proud to fill the role of his 3 year old.
