in yet another reoccurring situation, i find myself sitting at my desk at 10pm. laundry is slowly revolving downstairs, keeping our new local rat company.

a rat that few have seen, but all are twitchy over. and it's strange being here at night, a few lights on and knowing or imagining that at any second a R.O.U.S. could come sauntering past my doorway.

today luis, ezra and sina came down to have lunch with me. we ordered our usual pizza from "mama pizza" down the corner on allenby road. we spent that last 20 min or so reading from the Kitab-i-Aqdas on wills and inheritance.
