it is yet another solemn day in haifa. i planned to go running this morning at about 6am, but the rain softly led me back to bed. we have a new flatmate -aaron. pictures will come soon i'm sure, but it is a good move.

kent, aaron and i all left the flat about the same time, but with only two umbrellas. the rain had lessened at that point, so i just gave mine to kent since he had farther to walk to get to work - and so i set off, walking through the puddled streets and sidewalks, dodging the cascading water and listening to 'cry me a river' on my ipod.

word of the day: tumefaction (swelling)....use it in a sentence:

because of the rain, my walls are in a state of tumefaction....

by eating too much, too quickly, her belly became tumefacted (?)

i'll get there...

ok, i just grossed myself out. i was looking for a picture that i could post to depict tumefaction...um, yeah, just don't google that word if you don't want to be disturbed.

what an unfortunate condition....(sigh)...
